We did not know Jennifer personally, but she was a good friend to our son Toby from Flagstaff. We heard his grief when he was told of her death...he showed us "Jen's tree" in a lovely park in Flagstaff.... We cried too for this beautiful life that has moved on to another place. Time heals pain....love makes the difference. It is no surprise that such a wonderful website has been set up to to remember a life, and to help other people. I commend this wonderful family of friendship, and to Manny for bringing it to fruition and to the public. May Jen's memory always be blessed...Our thoughts always to her family and friends.

I just read through all the thoughts, prayers and beautiful memories shared with Jennifer. She was a beautiful child of God. I (our family) have been missing her terribly. I can still remember those cute dimples when I first saw her. (18 months old)She offered to all, so much of herself. She was so trusting, loving and free to live life in its fullest. Her memories will keep us going, knowing we will be with her again. Jenn and her family are very, very special people. Just want you to know, we continually hold you in our prayers and know the Lord holds you in his arms. Love you so, Kurt, Connie, Lindsey, Lauren and Luke :)

I only wait for that day when we will meet again and I will get to hug her once again.

WOW, I attend the GreyFox Bluegrass Festival in up state New York. (It's about (4-6) hours from home pending shore traffic) I can't tell you how many years I drove home with my 2 kids in the car, wishing I would have taken the time for a nap before the drive home. I always wanted to nap before packing the tent up but after 4 or 5 days, I just wanted to get going. Many years I would find my eyes closing hoping that the kids would wake up and start arguing just so I would some noise to keep me awake. Serveral years I even pulled to the side of the road just to close my eyes for a 15 minutes, but as soon as I stopped the van the kids would wake up, scared thinking something happened or someone might get in our car while Mom was sleeping. After reading this story I will take the time to nap before the drive home. Thanks for sharing your story, it might our save the lives. Please let me know how I can get help get the word out here on the East Coast. I am so sorry for your loss and will pray for your pain to ease. Peace & Love Terry

I grew up with Jenny, but after the Benton's moved to AZ we somewhat lost touch... After looking at the pictures and hearing the stories, I realized how much Jenny and I have in common. I wish I would've known. Jenny always had a smile on her face, she was truly a beautiful person. I will never forget Jenny and Katie, I think about you guys everyday. I love you and I will see you someday! Karen and Drew~ my thoughts and prayers are with you.

I thought about Jennifer on her birthday, & its hard to believe its been a year already. I was The Benton's neighbor for six years in Crystal Lake. Our children basically grew up together. Jennifer & Anthony were a couple of years ahead of my oldest - Ashley. Ashley is now 17 & a Junior at Crystal Lake High School. From this experience i protect all my daughter's little more than I should. Jennifer was so lovable, she had a generous personality - we took trips to their grandparents cabin, & did a lot of hangin' around. Lot's of dancing & singing too. Hey, Jennifer: remember when I was skinny enough to fit into your prom dress (senior year), guess what? you forgot it when you moved. I think I hugged it when I found out about your death. It will be back to your family shortly. My daughters on occasion still converse with Kevin via internet & he doesn't say much. I really hope that the family can overcome their sadness. There have been so many things to set the Benton's back, & this could have been the worst thing that has ever happened. I think about them often, but am distant from them. God bless

jen's presence was felt so strongly at high sierra! her face was everywhere and it was so beautiful to know she was there with all of us, dancing in the sunshine. manny's effort has paid off, as many people will now be thinking twice about getting behind the wheel when they are too tired to drive. thank you manny. i miss jen's sense of humor, but the greatest thing about her was that every time we parted ways she ALWAYS said "i love you" with a kiss on the cheek. she knew that showing your love for others is the most important thing in the world. and i thank her for reminding me of that. i love you jen. i know you're near us all always, for you will always live in our hearts.

Happy Birthday J-dogg! I love you and am thinking of you always. There is a certain time that I think of you the most. It is that time during a show when the cool breeze hits my face, I smile, and think that this is one of the best of times. That is when I can feel that you are there enjoying it too. I love you Jenn.

I'm a friend from way back of Jen's. We used to be unseperable. I remember all the good times we had together and I will cherish them forever. She was a big part of my growing up. I will remember her forever. There is always a place for her and her family in my heart. If the Benton family reads this hello, I miss you guys, and I am VERY sorry for your loss. I just found out about the web site and had to visit. This is great and I know Jennifer is watching over us in heaven. God Bless! Love Courtney Koscielniak

Jen was such a special person and touched the hearts of many. I always had so much fun with her and and she was such a true and beautiful person inside and out. I have a lot of memories with her that go back to junior high and I think about them all the time. Manny, I know I don't know you, but I think it is wonderful what you are doing. I look at the site frequently and just smile at the pictures on the website because that smile is what Jen always had on her face. I love and miss you Jen...and my best regards to the Benton family. Love, Jessica Tyler

I can tell from what Jen's cousin Katie has told me and what I have read on this website that Jen was a really kind person. I wish to meet her someday in heaven and I know that people that actually know her miss her more, but I know that I miss her too. I wish her the best and pray for her and to let her know that she's in my prayers, too.
