I saw your spot last night on the news and my heart went out to you again. It takes a strong family to turn this terrible tragedy into such a posative message. Keep up the good work!

I just wanted to stop and take a little time to share my thoughts on Jennifer and the progress we have made with the "Driving for Jennifer-Operation Drive Safe" campaign. A little over a year ago, after Jen's passing I decided it was time to do something, to help out and to help others. I think of that time when I was doing research on driving fatigue and related accidents. We have certainly come a long way and I couldn't have even imagined where we are now. "Driving for Jennifer" has been greeted with open arms everywhere we have gone to share this program. People greet me at shows and festivals and thank me, they gladly take fliers and hand them out, and it really has made an impact on how people think about getting to where they need to go. It is truly amazing and I must thank everyone who has helped out in this effort, especially Anthony Benton, the Benton family, and every person that has helped to print fliers, get the website started, publish articles, spread the campaign by word of mouth, and to everyone who loved Jen. I think 2004 holds a lot in store for us, especially this coming summer. It has been two Christmas's since I last saw Jen and it is still a hard reality to swallow. But, I do know that she is still with us, in each and every one of us, and as long as we are here, she still dances, sings, smiles, and shines her light upon us. I love you always Jennifer! "Do the kinds of things that come from the heart. When you do, you won't be dissatisfied, you won't be envious, you won't be longing for somebody else's things. On the contrary, you'll be overwhelmed with what comes back." --Morrie Shwarts

I just viewed your website and had to let you know I feel so sorry for yourloss- my beautiful daughter Maya, age 25, was also killed when her boyfriend fell asleep at the wheel at 5AM in the morning on the interstate in Pennsylvania- she was moving from New York City to Chicago. This happened on June 28, 2003. Maya was also a passenger. Anyway, I find no relief at this time but am still searching for some understanding. Your website is a wonderful tribute to Jennifer. It is a very important message that does not get out to people enough! I only wish both of us were not in this position. Keep up your good work. Sincerely Robyn Buseman

To: Karen( My Best friend ) and her most wonderful Family: I miss all of you so much, I wish I could bring Jen back to earth but I can not. I only know that we are on this earth for such a short while so we have got to make the best of it. Reading Jen's guestbook is so remarkable. I feel truly blessed that she and her family have always been in my life. I wish I could do more to ease the pain of missing her. All I can do is pray to God and all the angels that we will all be dancing together and listening to our favorite tunes in Heaven just like I know Jen is doing now. We Love & Miss you Jennifer. Merry Christmas to everyone. If there's one thing I learned from Jen. BELIEVE!!!Have a Blessed and Safe Christmas and New Year Love: Kerri P.S..I hope I see you in my dreams

To all of Jennifer's family, I never got the chance to meet Jennifer but from everything I have read and heard about her I realize that I missed out. Jennifer touched so many lifes in her short time on earth. I know that her family loves her so much and misses her each and every day. As the holidays come again this year please make a point to call her family and let them know they are in your thoughts. And to Jennifer you have a wonderful family and I'm sorry I never got the chance to meet you, hopefully we will meet someday.

I had the most wonderful dream the other night and I wanted to share it with everyone who loved Jennifer. It started out that I was in my bathroom trying to keep the door open but there was something always pushing it closed. After a while of the door closing and me opening it I gave up. Then I heard the water running in my shower so I open the door and there standing in my shower is this little girl, and she looks really familuar to me because she has been is other dreams of mine. So this girl looks at me and says "Jen don;t you remember me?" I said yes but i couldn;t remember her name. She told me that her name was Kyla. I saw there was a tag on her shrit or something that said she lived in a town that started with the Summer, in Maryland. She also told me that she had died 2 years ago and she came down here from heaven to see me. So we are in my bathroom talking and my friend Lucia somes by and I introduce her to Kyla and Lucia looks at me like I'm nuts when I tell her that Kyla is a ghoast and has been dead for 2 years. Then Kyla and I walk into my dining area and we sit at the table and she tells me that she needs to get back to heaven because she misses all her friends. So before she leaves I ask her to tell Jennifer Benton that we all miss her and love her. Kyla then looks at me and says "She knows." and that was it. I was dumbfounded so i ask her to bring Jennifer down next time she comes to visit me. Kyla looked at me and said that she couldn't "God has not given Jennifer that ability yet." and so I started telling her about that book "The Lovely Bones" but before i could finish talking she interrupted me and said "Anthony doesn't know about that yet." and I said "What? How do you know about Anthony?" she then looked at me seriously again and said "I told you I know Jennifer and she knows." and that was it Kyla left me and went back to heaven. I just wanted everyone to know that Jen is looking down on us and she knows that we all still love her and remember her every day!

You are an amazing person Manny, and the hard work you have put into this project has definetely made a difference in people's lives. I never had the opportunity to become friends with Jennifer, but I know that we would have been good friends. I truly feel for everyone who has had to suffer from her passing. It took a lot of courage to take something this devestating and make something positive come of it. I have spent several sessions at Jens tree, and it is really wonderful to see the accumulating trinkets and keepsakes that people place in remembrance. I even find myself burying crystals when I can. It's interesting how much taller her tree is than all the others, even though its been there a much shorter amount of time :) Anyhow, to all of the family that is here, I love you all very much, and Jen I look forward to meeting you someday :) Bryan

I am in awe of the reverance for Jennifer and all life as shown on this site. The statistics are horrific and awareness is truly needed. Our young people are our treasures and I pray this site helps save someone else's beloved child.
