As I look at the pictures of Jennifer, tears come to my eyes. So young, beautiful, full of life. It could have been me, or my girlfriend, or my two other friends in the backseat...because I fell asleep at the wheel coming back from High Sierra two years ago. We were spared, but the lesson I will never forget. Going from the most beautiful experiences in your life to the most tragic is a huge wake-up call. Pick up the phone and never forget. Tell all your friends, watch out for your neighbors, spend the small amount of extra effort to help save not only a life but a lifetime of pain and regret. Thank you Manny and everyone else contributing here for reminding us of the gift of life. Precious indeed!

Being Tired+Driving=Bad combination, always bring more than one friend along so they can sleep while you drive then you can switch off, this was a terrible tragedy, god bless jennifer and the bentons.. you have lost a family member, but gained a guardian angel.

Jen and I grew up together before we both moved away from Crystal Lake. Although I havent seen her in about four years, I always knew as kids that she was so very special to so many people. She was and always will be a beautiful person. I love her with all of my heart, and I think about her every day. I miss you Jen, you will always be in my prayers...
