I would just like to say hello to all of the Bentons. I have been thinking about you all for a long time. This site is an amazing tribute to Jennifer and I'm sure she would be proud of all the effort from everyone. She was one of a kind!

Hi, I just found out about this site from Valerie W, with whom I work with. Unfotunatley Jennifer and I had lost touch, however I am lucky to have known her. She will always be in some of my most sweetest memories. I can vividly recall her beutiful face with those trade mark dimples, and her beutiful heart, she was truly a wonderful person. My heart goes out to her family and loved ones, she will always be in my prayers.

My heart hurts for Jennifer and her family. It is a wonderful thing you are doing to get the word out about sleep depravation and driving, it is just as dangerous as drinking and driving. Thanks to Ellen this has now made it to Oklahoma. Keep up the good work and know that Jennifer is smiling down on you now.

I don't really know Jennifer however it is obvious she was and continues to be a very special person. This site is a wonderful creation; very warming and touching. It also serves a great purpose in creating awareness to this type of driving situation as well as to remind us of the importance of those that we love. It is amazing how Jennifer is able to touch the hearts of people through this site, even people she never knew. To Karen Benton: I read your insert from 11/21/2003. Just remember that Jennifer is with you, she always will be. A piece of her soul lives within you, just as a piece of yours lives within her. You will always be together. Together your souls enjoy a happiness that is unmatched and eternal. So remember, whenever you feel alone, your not. Smile knowing that.

Although I dont know your family, my heart goes out to you. I was given this website from a freind, who asked me to look at it. It cut me right to the bone, as I have a child now. Even though my son, Jacob, is only 1 yr old, I know that this could just as easily happen to me, or even him, down the road. Web sites like these will help me with my son when the time comes, as well as for me now! Thank you so much for the information. I dont think enough people think about things like this. Keep up the good work and hopefully it will reach everyone! Its already made it to Texas! May God Bless you!

I really don't know anyone that was involved and probably would have never heard about it if I couldn't sleep last night and was watching the news while they were talking about this topic. My heart and prayers go out to everyone that was involved. Upon hearing this I have started to think... you never know who's not going to be there tomorrow so always tell your loved ones that you love them...even if you're angry with them

What a horrible tragedy that could have been prevented. It is nice to see that you are trying to prevent this from happening by getting the message out. Thank you for your effort.

Just heard about this web site and Jennifer on the news. It's a terrible tragedy. It made me stop and think about the numerous times that I've driven while tired and pushed myself to get to where I wanted to go and how I always caution my husband to not do what I've done so many times. This web site and your efforts in Jennifer's memory are going to bring awareness that tragedies like this do happen to good people. You are going to save so many lives...

I just wanted to stop and take a little time to share my thoughts on Jennifer and the progress we have made with the "Driving for Jennifer-Operation Drive Safe" campaign. A little over a year ago, after Jen's passing I decided it was time to do something, to help out and to help others. I think of that time when I was doing research on driving fatigue and related accidents. We have certainly come a long way and I couldn't have even imagined where we are now. "Driving for Jennifer" has been greeted with open arms everywhere we have gone to share this program. People greet me at shows and festivals and thank me, they gladly take fliers and hand them out, and it really has made an impact on how people think about getting to where they need to go. It is truly amazing and I must thank everyone who has helped out in this effort, especially Anthony Benton, the Benton family, and every person that has helped to print fliers, get the website started, publish articles, spread the campaign by word of mouth, and to everyone who loved Jen. I think 2004 holds a lot in store for us, especially this coming summer. It has been two Christmas's since I last saw Jen and it is still a hard reality to swallow. But, I do know that she is still with us, in each and every one of us, and as long as we are here, she still dances, sings, smiles, and shines her light upon us. I love you always Jennifer! "Do the kinds of things that come from the heart. When you do, you won't be dissatisfied, you won't be envious, you won't be longing for somebody else's things. On the contrary, you'll be overwhelmed with what comes back." --Morrie Shwarts

I just viewed your website and had to let you know I feel so sorry for yourloss- my beautiful daughter Maya, age 25, was also killed when her boyfriend fell asleep at the wheel at 5AM in the morning on the interstate in Pennsylvania- she was moving from New York City to Chicago. This happened on June 28, 2003. Maya was also a passenger. Anyway, I find no relief at this time but am still searching for some understanding. Your website is a wonderful tribute to Jennifer. It is a very important message that does not get out to people enough! I only wish both of us were not in this position. Keep up your good work. Sincerely Robyn Buseman

To: Karen( My Best friend ) and her most wonderful Family: I miss all of you so much, I wish I could bring Jen back to earth but I can not. I only know that we are on this earth for such a short while so we have got to make the best of it. Reading Jen's guestbook is so remarkable. I feel truly blessed that she and her family have always been in my life. I wish I could do more to ease the pain of missing her. All I can do is pray to God and all the angels that we will all be dancing together and listening to our favorite tunes in Heaven just like I know Jen is doing now. We Love & Miss you Jennifer. Merry Christmas to everyone. If there's one thing I learned from Jen. BELIEVE!!!Have a Blessed and Safe Christmas and New Year Love: Kerri P.S..I hope I see you in my dreams

To all of Jennifer's family, I never got the chance to meet Jennifer but from everything I have read and heard about her I realize that I missed out. Jennifer touched so many lifes in her short time on earth. I know that her family loves her so much and misses her each and every day. As the holidays come again this year please make a point to call her family and let them know they are in your thoughts. And to Jennifer you have a wonderful family and I'm sorry I never got the chance to meet you, hopefully we will meet someday.
