| I just wanted to stop and take a little time to share my thoughts on Jennifer and the progress we have made with the "Driving for Jennifer-Operation Drive Safe" campaign. A little over a year ago, after Jen's passing I decided it was time to do something, to help out and to help others. I think of that time when I was doing research on driving fatigue and related accidents. We have certainly come a long way and I couldn't have even imagined where we are now. "Driving for Jennifer" has been greeted with open arms everywhere we have gone to share this program. People greet me at shows and festivals and thank me, they gladly take fliers and hand them out, and it really has made an impact on how people think about getting to where they need to go. It is truly amazing and I must thank everyone who has helped out in this effort, especially Anthony Benton, the Benton family, and every person that has helped to print fliers, get the website started, publish articles, spread the campaign by word of mouth, and to everyone who loved Jen. I think 2004 holds a lot in store for us, especially this coming summer. It has been two Christmas's since I last saw Jen and it is still a hard reality to swallow. But, I do know that she is still with us, in each and every one of us, and as long as we are here, she still dances, sings, smiles, and shines her light upon us. I love you always Jennifer!
"Do the kinds of things that come from the heart. When you do, you won't be dissatisfied, you won't be envious, you won't be longing for somebody else's things. On the contrary, you'll be overwhelmed with what comes back."
